Actions in this WP are: Identify and include relevant developments concerning the progress of the EU soil strategy following the start of this project. As the EU soil strategy is recently adopted it is not possible to exactly describe the outcome of this WP. However, the developments will be closely watched and actions in other WPs will be evaluated in terms of consistency with up to date information on the EU soil strategy. Perform two case-studies applying methodologies that have been suggested in WP3 to identify geographical areas at risk in EU25. If possible, an EU wide integrated assessment will be made. If these objectives can not be achieved, a case study for a selected region will be performed to demonstrate that the suggested RAMs do work and if appropriate show the benefits of using suggested harmonized RAMs. Organization and participation in workshop 4 on links between EU soil strategy, current RAMs used in EU25 member states, suggested RAMs and geographical location of risk areas. This workshop demarcates the end of WPs 3 and 4. |
